BREAK FROM SPIRITUAL TOXICITY | SAYING NO TO HEAVY SHEPHERDING!
People are abused in churches and are forced to keep coming back to this spiritual toxicity because they feel they have no options.
Just like abuse in marriages, the woman stays in the abusive relationship because of what society, church & shame it will bring to her family.
When you feel the tone of your pastor's voice doesn't sit well in your spirit. When you feel disempowered to make certain decisions without your pastor's approval.
If you want to marry Regina but your pastor says you can't marry this one, marry Rachel then you are effectively being controlled. Your pastor doesn't replace your medulla oblongata!
You are under spiritual control & manipulation.
You need to understand you have a choice. A choice to say NO to your pastor. Yes, you can say NO I don't feel right or I am not comfortable. You can say No I don't love Rachel I am in love with Regina.
You have a choice when you sense this spiritual control which sometimes we call heavy shepherding to take a break from the local church, to leave that local church, to worship from home or to go elsewhere.
You are not without a choice child of God, leave before you are destroyed beyond recovery.
Religion is deeply damaging, I know this first hand.
