CHURCH HURT

Hi Bazalwane, let me talk about church hurt and your response to it.

First things first; #hurt is not #anger!

So when a person has been hurt repeatedly at church until they decide enough is enough, they stop going to 'church', what is your likely response?

You will most likely respond like this;

"how can you stop coming to church because somebody hurt you? You don't go to church for man, you go there for God".

Firstly; in your response you haven't stopped to feel the pain your brother or sister has endured.

You clearly don't care about the emotional abuse they have endured that might have caused a major breakdown!

Secondly; your response assumes that God is geographical, God is limited to a chosen locations, God lives in a building we call church.

Therefore, you must keep coming back to the church that hurt you deeply, that dehumanized you consistently.

Keep coming back to a church where class is clearly defined by words like, "you are not on our level".

You keep coming back because God lives in this building. Ignore the people in the building, just come to God!

Now Bazalwane that is where we are wrong.

That is why we have legalized church abuse & celebrate church bullies.

Truth is; we don't go to church to meet God.

If you are a Christian, God lives within you. "The Kingdom of God is neither here nor there, it is within us".

The main reason we go to a 'church building' or gathering is for corporate worship & Christian fellowship.

Is fellowship happening in your church?

Are you a community of believers or Sunday only community?

Do you even have genuine friends you can talk to in your church?

So, if Mzalwane you are treated like a second class Christian, they talk to you in ways that hurt your feelings, that is not fellowship, it's shipwreck!

Finally; the 'church' is unashamedly enabling abuse.

Why do you find it easy to rebuke the hurt, the wounded, the broken, the abused and talk them into going back to the places which triggers depression? Why?

But you don't use the same zeal and courage to speak to those VIP bullies in your churches to stop hurting people?

You sit, talk and eat with church bullies but you can't tell them to stop abuse, yet you go to the abused, and be so 'spiritual?'

Now END that abuse and walk out of toxic churches. As I write there are people who have anxieties to go to church.

No wonder some folks walk out of church building immediately the service is over to avoid small, meaningless and hurtful chats with people they meet only at a building.

They are scared to be hurt again. But they have no option because religion teaches them that GOD IS GEOGRAPHICAL.

They have to go meet folks that hate them just to have a meeting with God.

Stop comparing 'christian' arrogance, meaness to Christian suffering.

People are breaking apart helplessly trying to endure pain inflicted by Bazalwane in the name of "suffering like Christ" Absolute nonsense!

Just walk away & don't look back!

We need to define corporate worship & christian fellowship from the scriptures, so we don't confuse church attendance with meeting God.

God is not in your buildings, God dwells inside you Mzalwane.
