ZAMBIA AT THE BLINK OF MORAL BANKRUPTCY: An Urgent Call For Moral Regeneration
The past few weeks has been characterized by exposé of the clergy. It has been a very difficult, painful and hard revelations that has left most of us shocked and disappointed by the state of affairs among the Clergy entrusted to lead God's people in the paths of righteousness.
I am glad to announce that in one of the exposé we are informed the case of statutory rape has been logged with the relevant authorities.
The investigations have unearthed many other girls who are victims of sex pest Pastor.
This will be a defining moment in the history of our country as we seek to bring justice to victims of Paparism.
In this article, "ZAMBIA AT A BLINK OF MORAL BANKRUPTCY: An Urgent Call For Moral Regeneration" I seek to broaden the scope of this conversation on the national level and say with great pain and tears in my eyes that immorality is the worse pandemic far beyond coronavirus. I am making an earnest and urgent plea for Zambia to reflect and amend her ways.
As I have stated in many of my writings, Zambia doesn't have an homosexual problem, we have a sexual immorality problem.
The evil one has successfully managed to deceive even the most learned among us. The only sin Zambians know is homosexuality. The rest that includes sexual violence, adultery and fornication we embrace, indulge & defend.
DEFINITIONS;
The term 'moral' speaks to the behaviour that can be classified as right.
A good, virtues, righteous, upright, upstanding, principled, honourable, honest, incorruptible, law-abiding etc.
As a country our morals have degenerated worse than the Biblical proportions of Sodom and Gomorrah. In one church the married Pastor has had sexual relationships with a married woman, her sister, and her daughter. I don't want to bore you with the Leviticus sexual laws.
A Pastor on the Copperbelt called me about my post that was shared in the Pastors WhatsApp group which spark a conversation that left sour taste in the mouth of this pastor.
He was told only 2% of the pastors in the country doesn't sleep with women in their churches. According to this Pastor Jesus Christ was supported by women.
He mentioned a woman who broke the alabaster of very expensive oil.
According to this pastor if you want women to be committed to the Church you have to have sexual relations with them. That way they will support you financially and defend you at all cost. If the husbands want to leave the Church their wives will convince them to stay because they are committed to you sexually.
The problem with sex for support in church is that it doesn't reflect the genuine support Jesus Christ received from women. And often when the clergy see themselves as Jesus Christ they are often in doctrinal error.
Why are we not upset? Why are we not abhorred? Why are we not burning with righteous indignation?
While I struggle with the 98% sexually immoral Pastors stats, I agree that the pandemic is deeper.
Paul had this to say;
"It is actually reported [everywhere] that there is sexual immorality among you, a kind of immorality that is condemned even among the [unbelieving] Gentiles:
that someone has [an intimate relationship with] his father’s wife. And you are proud and arrogant!
You should have mourned in shame so that the man who has done this [disgraceful] thing would be removed from your fellowship!
Your boasting [over the supposed spirituality of your church] is not good [indeed, it is vulgar and inappropriate].
Do you not know that [just] a little leaven ferments the whole batch [of dough, just as a little sin corrupts a person or an entire church]?
Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new batch, just as you are, still unleavened.
For Christ our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of vice and malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and [untainted] truth.
I wrote you in my [previous] letter not to associate with [sexually] immoral people— not meaning the immoral people of this world, or the greedy ones and swindlers, or idolaters, for then you would have to get out of the world and human society altogether!
But actually, I have written to you not to associate with any so-called [Christian] brother if he is sexually immoral or greedy, or is an idolater [devoted to anything that takes the place of God], or is a reviler [who insults or slanders or otherwise verbally abuses others], or is a drunkard or a swindler—you must not so much as eat with such a person.

MORAL REGENERATION
Regeneration means that an organism regrows a lost part, so that the original function is restored.
In this sense we are talking more than just exposing immoral persons. We talking about being pro-active to do the job now so that our next generation will retain moral & ethical lifestyle. Precisely why I am appealing for a national involvement.
When we talk about Moral Regeneration words like rebuilding, restoration, rehabilitation, rebirth, revival, redemption, renewer, recovery & reformation are echoed.
The UPND Government is committed to the rule of law and citizens can exercise their constitutional rights.
However, just because Moses Leads the Israelites out of Egypt, it took 40 years for Egypt to be removed from the minds of Israelites.
The chains that bind our hands and feet are easy to shake off, but it's mental slavery that takes longer to be broken.
Sexual violence doesn't begin in the churches, what we see happening in the churches today is a reflection of a rotten society we are coming from.
Then, we have an historical injustice against women and children. Sexual violence is informed by the historical injustice. "Why are the victims not reporting the perpetrators?" Because the society we come from protects men over women & children.
It begins with that girl who wrote to me. She said she was sexually violated as minor by the Uncle and the Uncle's older son. When she reported to her aunt she was silenced by the woman whose husband and son are violating a girl child.
She had to protect her bread winner & her biological son with no feelings for the long term trauma this girl had to live through.
At 19 years she has had enough of sexual abuse she left the house. She said she hates her mother's side of the family.
It is the girl like this raped at home, and when she finally finds a church as a safe place, she is again raped by the most powerful man in church; the Pastor.
HUMAN CONSCIENCE: The Seat Of Morality
As Christians having faith coupled up with a good conscience is how we live our Christian life.
You can have faith to move the mountains, & yet you don't have a clear conscience.
You can't exploit the members sexually and financially, faking miracles and spending God's money (tithes & offerings) on lodges for extramarital sex affairs, and paying abortion clinics to terminate pregnancies of young girls just to protect yourself from scandals, and you do all these things without regretting?
When your conscience is numbed with a hot iron, faith as they say is just a currency, a means to an end!
Your conscience is the most powerful seat of morality. Don't give in to lies. From one lie to another lie, from one sexual sin to another, from one fake prophesy to another your conscience will be damaged as scripture says, "sealed with a hot iron".
In the later times people will give themselves willingly to the teachings of the evil spirits and demons.
How does this work? Satan and the demonic world are very much real, and they are actively involved in destroying human lives through deception, but they can’t do anything without the cooperation of human agents.
These human agents are here called hypocritical liars.
These hypocritical liars know that what they are teaching is lies, and they also know that the source of their teaching is from Satan.
How do you turn from being a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, to being an hypocritical liar?
By having your conscience seared with a hot iron.
What does it mean to have your conscience seared with a hot iron? Your conscience is a seat of morality, a place where you know right from wrong.
Our Mothers used to touch hot pots, and used their bare hands to touch hot coals. I thought they were just genius to touch fire.
Truth is, because of cooking and constantly touching hot things, the nerve endings of their fingers were destroyed, therefore they couldn’t feel a thing anymore.
Your conscience is seared when you constantly fighting and arguing against sense.
When you know abortion is wrong, but you keep justifying that after all I am protecting the church from the scandal. Your conscience is numbed, burnt, killed and rendered useless.
The voice of conscience is silenced. This is where we are Zambia, we have lost our conscience, we are depraved worse than Sodom and Gomorrah!
WHERE TO FROM HERE?
I suggest a MORAL REGENERATION PROGRAM.
Often the Clergy are the moral conscience of the society, but we have fallen from grace to disgrace.
However, in God's Sovereignty there is always a remnant. The Clergy who have not bowed their knee to the demonic spirit of Paparism.
They must stand up and be counted. In this battle you can't be in-between. So the remnants among the clergy should be part of this Moral Regeneration Program.
The stakeholders in this proposed program includes religious faiths, Political leaders, Parliament, community leaders, traditional leaders, Department of Education, law enforcement, children's rights activists, Activists against Gender based violence, law and enforcement, mental health experts & many other organisations.
With Political will we can research the impact of moral degeneration in our country.
In the absence of laws the church has failed to self-regulate and self-govern. Surely we must have laws in place to protect victims of sexual violence at home, in church & at school. Even God has laws in place for us to obey.
Create a MORAL REGENERATION document that will inform educators, Activists, churches, community leaders etc on what to teach.
This is a trans-generational program. It's important to remember that we have to ensure we get out of this Sodomized culture so that our children's conscience is preserved from corruption.
It's sad that Pastors are in the frontline spreading HIV/Aids with impunity. Cage these murderers!
WHAT WE ARE NOT DOING
Exposing is not our goal. For me personally I have a Christian apologetic agenda that is twofold;
firstly; Expounding the truths of God's Word with Great Patience and perseverance, & secondly; Exposing false teachings.
With the emphasis on teaching not teachers. But certain people need to be called out by name.
We are not going into people's wardrobes to look for hidden skeletons. We calling out those whose conscience are sealed who continue to live a life of sexual immorality with no sign of remorse.
CONCLUSION
Karl Marx said, "religion is the opium of the people". Most people ask why adults are being exploited by small boys in shiny suits & shoes. It is about indoctrination. They get everyone high on some poisonous Doctrine.
These people need our prayers, our support, our patience to help them out of the web of deception. The work I am willing to do starting today.
As a young born again Christian on the streets of Lubengele in Chililabombwe I thought the music of Professor PK Chishala especially "Ba Elder" was mean, vindictive and anti-Christ.
Because in my innocence I never imagined the men of the cloth can be rapists, abusers, extortioners, drug dealers, pimps etc.
Today in hindsight, I listen to Professor PK Chishala and realize, we had a prophet who sounded the warning many years ago, and we dismissed him.
I beg you by the mercies of God, if we don't consider moral regeneration program as a priority, the homosexuality we dread off will be nothing to what this country will become.
Peace, justice, the rule of law, human rights and other democratic rights we so desire cannot not be realised in a society whose morals has degenerated.
I Am aware that while there is sexual licenciate in our churches & society, there are sexual rituals that often leave victims damaged.
We can fight cults on two fronts; through sound teaching of scripture, and by spiritual counseling & prayer.
This is my plea, the solution is Radical Moral regeneration program nationwide.
